Support
Crew
Teams
are welcome and advised to use a Support Crew (max. 2) to
help transport equipment and supplies (i.e.
Bikes, Food & Gear) to and from various transition
locations and Home base. Support crew should have a 4x4 vehicle
as some roads are quite rough. Support Crews will only be
allowed to provide support at locations designated by ARC
race management.
ARC will support Teams that have Support
Crews by providing T-shirts and a post race meal.
For
Teams without support crews, ARC will provide soft support,
ARC will transport equipment and supplies on their behalf,
and provide some food and drink at transition locations. Teams
must have all their gear in clearly marked bins (i.e. team
number), with lids on them. Bins will not be transported between
Transition locations, so equipment must be allocated appropriately
in advance of the race start. And note that should your team
finish early or drop out of the race, we may not be able to
recover your bikes or gear bins until the end of the race.
Teams
must advise ARC as to weather they will have a Support Crew
or not, at least one week before the start of the race.
