MUDDY DIRECTIONS

The race Start/Finish Area is located at the Etobicoke Education Centre on the east side of the Claireville Conservation area. Enter off the west side of Hwy 50, approx 3km south of Highway 7 or 2km north of Steeles Ave. The entrance is opposite and just south of the Ultimate Golf Centre. PARKING DETAILS

As you enter the Claireville Conservation Area, please drive slowly and follow the signs to the parking on the right-hand side of the road at the Etobicoke Education Centre. We have a YELLOW MUDDY SHUTTLE BUS to get you from the parking lot to the run site.

This is a fun run so help your neighbour if he or she needs it“Obstacles” add to the fun and excitement of the race.
Teams start and finish together – this is not a relay. The last member of your team to cross the finish line is the team finish time.

MUD TIPS

One thing is for sure, you won't be wearing your usual chic or sporty race gear to our RUN
Wear your grungy clothes and old sneakers, because more than likely they won't be going home
Bring a bag for your DIRTY LAUNDRY
A few towels, crocs or flip flops and a change of clothes
There will be a shower/rinse off area for participants
Being able to shed down to your shorts, bikini, speedo or swimsuit versus your “muddy gear" will make the outdoor co-ed showers a much more enjoyable experience
Change tents for men and women
Make sure you cover your car seats – we assure you your car will get DIRTY

CHARITY Your “ PENNIES FROM HEAVEN ” helps us raise money for a great cause - Juvenile Diabetes. We encourage you to start collecting your pennies and other loose change now – Please bring your collection on RACE DAY - we have loads of PENNY JARS at registration so please donate generously
VOLUNTEERS We have grown exponentially and we need LOTS of volunteers to help us run this event. So if you would like to be a part of the action, please click on: www.mudrun.ca and complete the on-line Volunteer Form. This is also a great event for students to get their volunteer hours completed.
   
MUDPICS
Make sure that you get your before and after shot at the MUDPIC set up in the MUDVILLAGE area - it's fun viewing them later
TIMING Electronic Timing will be used ONLY FOR the 10K and 5K distances, and chips must be RETURNED on run day. The timing chip is attached to the race bib.
COURSE

The course includes single-track, groomed trails, field/grass and gravel. Each distance loops through the Start/Finish area, and all distances include the Mud Pit!

WATER STOPS There will be three (3) water stations on course, but we also encourage you to carry water with you on course by using a eco-friendly water bottle or bladder backpack
There will be a first aid station at the Start/Finish location
SHOWERS Rinse off area for participants and a change area for men and women
 
MUD VILLAGE
SPONSORS Will be showcasing their products, merchandise and sampling
FOOD

Hot Dogs and Sausages with drinks available for purchase on-site

WASHROOMS Port-o-lets will be located at the start/finish area
