2005 ARC Winter Adventure Race Information & Registration

2005 ARC Adventure Racing Series (Summer Schedule)

  • Winter Races - (Solo and teams of 3) - 4 to 6hrs. A fun and challenging winter race experience for those who enjoy outdoor adventure. (Barrie, Ontario)
  • Outventure Races - (Solo & Pairs) - 2 to 3 hours. Fun, fast and short adventure races for all abilities. Get outside and experience adventure.....outventure off-road races (Toronto, Barrie, Bruce County, Collingwood, Muskoka, Guelph)
  • Urban Races - (teams of 3) - 3 to 5hrs. A great introduction to the sport of adventure racing, as well as a fun event for the more experienced racer. These races are for all ability levels in an accessible urban locations (Toronto)
  • Enduro Races - (teams of 3) - 5 to 8 hrs. ARC Enduro adventure races are the first step into 'real' adventure racing; and the most popular adventure races in Canada. Wilderness locations including Barrie (Hardwood Hills), Port Elgin, Collingwood, Muskoka and the Kawartha's in Ontario.
  • EnduroXtreme Races - (teams of 3) - 10 to 15 hrs. The ARC EnduroXtreme is just like the ARC Enduro, only a longer, more challenging day of racing. This is the next step in adventure racing for teams looking to push themselves further, and really test their skills and stamina.These races will be held in Port Elgin, Collingwood and Muskoka in Ontario.
  • 24-Hr Overnight Races - (teams of 4) - 24 to 30 hrs. The ARC 24-Hour Overnight Adventure Races are the most popular long-distance race format in North America. A tough, yet rewarding challenge for teams of four; and a great way to end the season.

    Teams can compete in Co-ed, Open Male, Open Female and Masters Divisions (subject to a minimum of six registered teams in a race)

Adventure Race Clinics

Adventure Racing Canada is offering and endorsing a whole variety of clinics that are geared to all aspects of adventure racing. These clinics are for someone who has never participated in an adventure race and/or plans to enter a race this year; or someone who has some race experience and is looking to improve their skills for their next race; and the experienced racer looking for the added edge to be a top finisher.

Pre-Race Adventure Racing Clinics - Teams that are participating in an ARC race can also take advantage of our Pre-Race Adventure Racing Clinics that take place the night before each race. You can brush up on all aspects of adventure racing including the all important navigation, before you start your race.Click Here to register.
