ARC
EnduroXtreme Adventure Races are just like the ARC Enduro
races, but they are a longer, more challenging day of racing.
ARC
EnduroXtreme Adventure Races are the next step in adventure
racing for teams looking to push themselves further, and
really test their skills and stamina.
These
races start at dawn, and last 10 to 15 hours. Teams arrive
the night before the race for the race check-in and captain's
meeting; and then you get a good night's sleep before an
early morning start!
The 2005 ARC EnduroXtreme Adventure Races take place throughout
the season in Barrie, Port Elgin (Bruce County), Collingwood
and Muskoka in Ontario.
These races are a great stepping stone toward the ARC 24-Hour
Overnight Adventure Races.
The
ARC EnduroXtreme Adventure Races all include mountain biking,
trekking /trail running, paddling and a bit more navigation
(topo map and compass), with a total race distance of approx.
60+ KM.
All race distances are designed for teams of three - Co-ed,
Open (all male or female teams) or Master's (+120 total
team yrs.).
