you're supporting
Funds raised through your pledges and donations will go directly to
the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation - Ontario Chapter. The Canadian
Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) is the leading national volunteer-based
organization dedicated to the fight against breast cancer. The largest
of four regional Chapters of the Foundation, CBCF - Ontario Chapter
raises and allocates funds for programs unique to the needs and priorities
of the breast cancer community in Ontario. In 2003, CBCF - Ontario Chapter
allocated more than $5 million in grants and programs supporting breast
cancer initiatives, including primary prevention research. A key funding
area for the Ontario Chapter are the research studies between breast
cancer and certain lifestyle choices - for example, diet and exercise
- as well as environmental and biological factors. For more information,
please visit www.cbcf.org/ontario.
